All memberships require registration and are set up through a service company. All membership class prices are for "cash amounts." First payments may be made with cash, credit or debit cards, or PayPal. Credit card checkout recoupment fee will apply. Auto payment through a bank account is possible. We can no longer accept checks. Membership payments are collected by a service company, and all membership tuition automatically renews at the same rate with payment due by the start of each time period. To make any downgrades to membership status, two weeks written notice prior to the next billing date is required. As most memberships renew on the 1st of the month, written notice must be given by the 15th on the month BEFORE membership is downgraded, paused, or ended. Advance notice is required as member insurance, location rent, and service company fees are all advance paid with relation to membership numbers and require processing time from these other businesses. The service company does not provide refunds barring an error. Re-establishing membership after a cancellation will require a re-registration cost. Failed EFTs will be assessed a fee by the service provider.

Membership is for a set length of time. A monthly membership consists of essentially paying for 3 weeks and getting 1 week "free" each month. Attendance is the responsibility of the member. There are only a set number of membership spots available, and each member is considered to be reserving a spot for themselves. {For in person lessons: If a member misses a class during a week, they may attend another of the same type of class that week as a "makeup."} Absences are not credited or refunded. If there is a sudden significant health problem, membership can be paused.

COVID-19 Protocols & Requirements for In-Person Classes:

Everyone who enters the building is currently required to wear a mask indoors.
Please do everything you can to keep your mask on (covering the mouth and nose) throughout your time in the gym.

Please use the front door to enter, and use the side door to exit (weather permitting).

Relson Gracie Association:

We have the high honor of being an official Relson Gracie Association! Our head instructor, Greg Bartman, is a direct student of Relson Gracie, son of Helio Gracie. Greg earned his Black Belt in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu from Relson himself. Therefore all Bartman MMA & Self-Defense Jiu-Jitsu students are part of the direct official lineage from Helio Gracie and Relson Gracie. Thus all our student's ranks are recognized and honored around the world!

We have the privilege of hosting Relson Gracie when he visits, and learning Self-Defense and Jiu-Jitsu straight from the purest source. As such, our members join the Relson Gracie Training Association and renew annually to be a part of this great and rare opportunity.

Required Association dues are paid to Relson Gracie himself in exchange for his unique knowledge, technical assistance, and official rank recognition. We are very proud to say that our Association Membership allows our students to be personally trained in Relson Gracie's highly acclaimed system and become part of a worldwide community! Members are welcomed as family at every Relson Gracie Association across the globe. When our members travel, they are regularly granted a free training session and loaner uniform at other Relson Gracie affiliated academies.

Mandatory dues per calendar year are as follows:

Co-Ed Jiu-Jitsu: 57
Kick Ass Class only: 28
Kids Jiu-Jitsu: 28

Association dues are to be paid at approximately the 3rd month of student membership.
