Self-Defense Workshop - February 27, 2016

This special Women's Self-Defense workshop will cover 10 techniques paired with 5 important key concepts

This workshop is led by Relson Gracie Self-Defense certified Instructors, Greg Bartman and Tori Garten, whose combination of technical instruction paired with understanding women's unique concerns and experiences make this a powerful seminar not to be missed!

The session will cover an assortment of self-defense physical techniques for a variety of situations, such as grabs, shoves, holds, and what happens if the situation ends up on the ground. Along with the physical techniques we will discuss verbal and emotional/mental self-defense concepts. We'll cover a few self-defense myths and offer alternative solutions.

The statistics for violence and assault can be frightening and frequently women react to these statistics in two ineffective ways 1) Ignoring: "It won't happen to me because of such and such," or 2) Over-vigilance that affects a women's quality of life.

We look to empower women with the knowledge and skills to put the emotional response in its place and be able to respond to the situation at hand. The blend of verbal, mental and physical self-defense techniques will definitely boost self-confidence. Many women find it impacts their life in more ways than just how they walk through a parking garage.

If you are wondering whether or not you can do it - you can! The hardest part is walking through the door.

We look forward to training with you!
